And So It Begins

And so it begins.  Our website is launched.  We are facebook official.  Our first appointment with a potential client is in less than a week and we are ready-so bring it!

Our kits, caddies, trays are coming together and I thought I would share what they contain and how we plan to do our cleaning.  It begins with a container of some kind.  They can be found about anywhere that sells cleaning supplies and products.  Even if you are cleaning your own home it is more efficient to keep everything you need in a portable caddy so you can move from room to room without having to backtrack or locate a cleaning product. Jenn and I wanted something ‘prettier’ so we got these cute little storage totes at TJ Maxx and found fun pink shower caddies at Target to organize the smaller items so they don’t get lost under the bigger things.  We have an assortment of sponges and the most magical of all cleaning products-named so appropriately-The Magic Eraser.  I don’t know how I managed to clean my home effectively before these came into my live about 7-8 years ago.  I remember specifically.  My son was a toddler and both my husband and I worked full time.  Mornings were hectic and often I would be putting on make-up, showering and dressing while he was entertaining himself nearby, within sight, but not always within reach.  He loved crayons and writing and scribbling and drawing and he did it everywhere.  The walls, the furniture, the cabinets, everywhere.  The Magic Eraser was new and I decided to get one and it worked-well-and easily.  I am now a huge fan and employ the use of every variety.  I always find myself checking out these too…

Some of them have great information and ideas…

This one, however, did not work for me.  Maybe my experimental toilet wasn’t stained as stubbornly as it should have been.  Maybe I didn’t use the same brand (I use the real deal Mr. Clean ones because they really do work the best-in my opinion-and last the longest-in my opinion).  I didn’t get the same result.  There are other tips and uses on this post, however, and the Budget Savvy Diva website is absolutely worth visiting.  I just wasn’t able to get rid of a stubborn toilet bowl ring by floating a chunk of magic eraser in said toilet bowl.
