You can fake it

We all have the friend whose house is always clean, who can invite someone inside regardless of familiarity at any time. Here's a surprise for you, though, that house may not actually be CLEAN-it might just be tidy. For me and my house, if the kitchen is neat, dishes are not piling up and the pillows and blankets in the family room are folded and fluffed, then it is clean enough to invite someone in.
